The Sydney based contemporary jeweller Melinda Young has a Master of Visual Arts from Sydney College of the Arts. She has exhibited extensively, participating in over 100 group as well as solo and two person exhibitions in Australia and overseas since 1997. Her work is included in numerous publications and collections including the Art Gallery of South Australia and The Museum of Art, Architecture & Design, Oslo, Norway. In addition to her jewellery practice, Melinda works as an educator, curator and writer and is a devoted mother to her adored seven month old son.
